For example, I find the work of Barry McGee & Margaret Kilgallen very under-rated and under-exposed. And the commercial aspect of much “street art” compared to traditional graffiti is a bit off-putting. It’s gotten to a point where most street are makes me shrug my shoulders in non-interest; it all seems like fairly transparent attempts to get gallery representation or something else.
